Oh my goodness Ami LeCoeur this book was fantastic!!High Stakes Seduction is about Angela Tilson who has had to drop out of college to take care of her sister after a tragic accident killed her mother and left her sister Maria wheelchair bound. Their father has racked up some pretty bad gambling debts and disappeared Angela and Maria haven't heard from him in a year when they get a call to find out that he has died. Angela has been working to pay off her Dad's debts and support herself and Maria only to find that the life insurance policy he left was actually left to a wealthy businessman Antonio Mancini. Antonio is this incredibly dark, and dominant male something has clearly happened to him and hopefully we will get more of his story as the series progresses. When Angela confronts Mancini she ends up taking a position as an associate with his fashion company to work with him so that she can repay her fathers debts. Angela has to try and fight her growing attraction to this incredibly fierce and dominating man who tries to take charge of her life in just about every aspect.
Ami LeCoeur did such a fantastic job with this novel the connection between Antonio and Angela is simply magnetic they have this amazing pull that is so apparent and the story flows so well that as a reader you feel like you are going on the journey with the characters. This is one intense emotional roller coaster ride and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

This is a beautifully written book, with well developed characters who I am already feeling attached to. Although I'm not a fan of series generally, I absolutely will buy the second book of this series simply because it's a wonderful story, with interesting people and I must know what happens next.
We are adequately warned that this is Book 1 of a series. Of course it ends in a cliffhanger. Excellent editing, especially for a free book. A pleasure to read. Wonderful characters brought to life by an excellent author. My first book by Ami LeCoeur, but I hope to read many more. What a thrill to experience such high quality craftsmanship.
Angela is a strong-willed woman caught up in past and current obligation. She loves her wheel chair bound younger sister completely and will now cross the line to get her an operation. Antonio is the total Alpha male who I can't determine if he is good or bad, but he wants Angela. Their story is well written and I like the facets of the various characters.
What a great read! From the moment I opened the book, I felt as though I was right in the story with all the characters, I felt all their emotions. I was captivated until the very end. Get your copy today!
Ok so I'm an admitted cover whore and got this book because the cover looked good lol. I am glad to say that Author Ami LeCoeur did not disappoint at all. This book reeled me in from beginning to end. I read it in one sitting and am quickly writing this review so I can move on to book 2 lol. Angela Tilson has been dealt a rough hand and just when she thinks things are looking up there's a not so small wrench thrown in. A wrench that goes by the name of Antonio Mancini. I don't like spoilers so I will not give any but trust me you NEED to read this series! Go ahead and grab a copy now you will NOT be disappointed.
This is a wonderful story about how far love will go to help a family member. I enjoyed reading about Antonio and Angela. Angela has always put her handicapped sister first. She meets Antonio and begins working for him. She h a s feelings for him and is getting mixed signals from him. I need to continue reading the second book to see what happens. This book is hard to put down once you start reading it. The author really knows how to capture the reader..
I'm not sure what to call this one. Comtemporary? Slightly mob-ish? Suspense? I liked that the story was different, and not like I thought it would be going in. Angela and her sister have been struggling to get by when they get some unexpected news. Angela gets some information that a certain gentleman, Antonio, may be able to give her some answers. Instead, he gives her a job she can't refuse.
I thought I'd start this one night before bed, but it was a quick read and I ended up finishing it. I like the way everything unfolded, and yet there were secrets that left you wondering and reaching for the next book in the series.

Grammar Couple of minor, non-distracting errors
Dialogue Antonio wasn't one to share any details, and Angela liked to ask questions.
Sexual Content There was some tingly sexual tension, and a couple of hot solo scenes, but no actual sex.

Will I Recommend This Book? Yes, it's a quick read and the series is interesting, slightly different take which is always good!
Recommend The Author I'm interested in reading more, like the Healed by Love series.
